Looking for a winter city break? Why not discover Budapest in 3 days as described in my previous blog!
There are many options for cheap flights, but if you are looking at taken in the Christmas Markets, why not head in December around the 10th-14th December. Below are some flight options and accommodation options, to get you started!
Ediburgh-Budapest : 10th-13th December £114
Glasgow-Budapest : 11th-14th December £117
London Luton-Budapest : 10th-14th December £46
Bristol- Budapest: 12th-15th December £80
These flights are all available via skyscanner. London flights are coming in the cheapest, but if you are willing to fly mid week you can get cheaper deals from Bristol and Scotland than listed.
On my last visit to Budapest I stayed at City Nook, located in an ideal location for bars and restaurants and right beside both tram and metro stations, it really is the perfect spot. The flat is very spacious, and has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The flat can easily take 10 people, and at a bargain price of £287 for the whole apartment, it works out at only £28 pppn! Add flights from London and your total holiday comes to a mere £75!!City Nook can also accommodate smaller groups and you can rent out rooms individually, so it is definitely worth checking out. The beds were very comfortable, and everything you could possibly need is provided!
